Description
Legendary vibes player Bobby Hutcherson recorded two albums for Blue Note as a quartet leader, 1967's 'Happenings', and 'Oblique' (recorded in ‘67 but not released until ‘79). The line-ups were similar for each, with Herbie Hancock on piano and Joe Chambers on drums, although Albert Stinson plays bass in place of Bob Cranshaw here. Hutcherson, Hancock and Chambers all contribute compositions to this LP.
