Description
French singer, guitarist and harmonica virtuoso Charles Pasi released his Blue Note debut "Bricks" in 2017 with a mixture of jazz, blues and pop songs. The follow-up album "Zebra" - combining smoky blues, classic soul and a pinch of Steely Dan - took him a few years until 2021, as the songs were written over two years during concerts all over the world: China, Tunisia, the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey and Mauritius.
Charles Pasi once again, has taken his time for his third Blue Note album “Adamas”, which will be released in 2025. At first glance, it seems more energetic and straightforward than its predecessors, but a closer listen reveals the musical subtleties that we have come to expect from the artist. This time he addresses the loss of two people important to him, his father and his manager. But he wouldn't be Charles Pasi if he didn't also draw truths from such experiences that give his songs a spiritual basis.
