The Lebanese duo of Raed Yassin and Paed Conca once again expand their PRAED Orchestra!, following 2020’s Live in Sharjah, assembling an international cast of players to bring their vision to full scale.
The album combines seven composed pieces with sprawling improvisations, colliding Arabic rhythms, microtonal melodies, electronics, warped vocals and orchestral colour. The result is dense, unpredictable and playful, a work that feels like tuning into a broadcast from both the past and the future. Less about genre than about memory, the record pushes PRAED’s fascination with the intersection of popular culture and experimental music into vivid new territory.
