Silver Apples’ Oscillations reissue launches the Silver Apples Foundation, a new non-profit and imprint created to honour Simeon Coxe’s wish to preserve the group’s legacy, promote electronic music, and establish a scholarship fund.This version of ‘Oscillations’ was the final recording Simeon made at his ChickenCoop studio in Fairhope, Alabama in 2019, capturing the piece as he performed it live. It is backed with the late Andrew Weatherall’s remix of ‘The Edge of Wonder’, taken from the band’s final album Clinging to a Dream.Sleeve art features an oscillator illustration drawn by Simeon in 2014, with the original Silver Apples logo on the reverse. The package also includes a Silver Apples slipmat bearing the iconic Apples emblem.
