An AAA remastered reissue of Kenny Burrell’s eponymous Prestige album, presented in the Original Jazz Classics Series. Burrell’s lyrical guitar leads a hard-swinging quintet with Cecil Payne, Tommy Flanagan, Doug Watkins, and Elvin Jones. Cut all-analog from the original tapes at Coherent Audio, pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI, and housed in a Stoughton tip-on jacket.
