Waldron wrote every cut, from the restless drive of 'Coolin' Off' to the slow burn of the title piece, leaving plenty room for this remarkable lineup to stretch even their least used muscles. Frank Wess doubles between flute and tenor, Kenny Burrell supplies lean guitar runs, Paul Chambers anchors on bass, and Art Taylor's drumming keeps it lithe but forceful.
