Rob Burke, one of Australia’s most experienced, respected and lyrical saxophonists joined 3 founding members of the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra Raymond MacDonald on saxophone, George Burt on guitar and Una MacGlone on\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003edouble bass. Called one the world’s best large improvising ensembles by BBC Jazz on 3, the relationship underpinning this project stretches back many years. George Burt and Raymond MacDonald first met in 1992 where they performed together at a concert celebrating Brian Wilson’s 50th birthday. This record reflects collective processes; it is built from conversations, trust and long-term creative exchanges where each voice\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003econtributes to a larger whole and as musicians, their sounds and identities merge together.
